Cutting Edge Updates in Periodontics
Established in 2005, the Perio in the Peninsula Study Club has hosted more than 80 events across the Niagara Peninsula and developed a powerful network of hygienists, dentists, dental assistants, dental administrators, nurses, scientists, academics, physicians, and dental specialists. While no two events have been alike, the program of Perio in the Peninsula Study Clubs are always designed to promote a collaborative learning experience with a patient-centric focus.
The fundamental reason this organization exists is to promote a collaborative learning experience among a dynamic network of allied health professionals to better understand the complex world of periodontology. By doing so, we will all be better prepared to guide our patients of tomorrow.
However, as Alfred Perlman famously wrote, “After you’ve done a thing the same way for two years, look it over carefully. After 5 years, look it over with suspicion. And after 10 years, throw it away and start all over.” And so, we have decided to do just that with the introduction of Base Camp.
This year, we partner with our colleagues at Niagara College, a leading provider in dental hygiene education in Canada, to include students and health care providers alike with the opportunity to access the most cutting edge science and clinical frameworks.
As ever, we are dependent on our Industry Partners for the viability and success of this lecture series and thus grateful for their continued support. We very much appreciate the generous support of Perio in the Peninsula: Base Camp from the following companies with whom we feel completely aligned in our mission.
